As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and assist employees, visitors, and drivers with professional customer service. You will use computer or tablet systems to document observations and communicate clearly with the team. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate records of arrivals, departures, and unusual activity.
• Report hazards, damaged property, policy violations, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
