Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to residential incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, parking areas, common areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization when required, and communicate with residents, property staff, and emergency responders in accordance with site policies.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications while following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
