About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Coordinator in Rialto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening people, packages, and/or materials in accordance with site procedures. You will maintain a professional presence, help identify and report security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or belongings in accordance with established screening procedures; report prohibited items, irregularities, or policy concerns to site management or Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols and documenting activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
