About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Roving Patrol in Clinton, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
