About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Allen, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide welcoming customer service. You will communicate clearly with shoppers, staff, and visitors while supporting a professional, orderly environment. Requirements

• Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, tenants, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail and mall common areas, storefronts, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity, theft-related concerns, and property damage through visible presence, observation, and timely reporting.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
