Requirements

Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry, verify access permissions, and support site protocols for employees and visitors.
Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, following post orders, and assisting with security-related requests in accordance with Allied Universal standards and location expectations.
