As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Round Rock, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Requirements

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel environment.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to hotel management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, corridors, guest-facing areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, helping to identify unusual activity and/or maintenance-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, common areas, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized access, support access control expectations, and document security-related observations.
  • Assist with reporting and documentation of incidents, policy violations, and/or disturbances, while communicating professionally with guests, staff, and supervisors.
