As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and address security-related concerns with integrity, teamwork, and the agile, reliable, innovative approach of Allied Universal.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications property by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual activity or access-control issues.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
  • Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately through required reports and shift communications.
