About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, passengers, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, stations, administrative areas, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and notification procedures.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain detailed activity logs in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.
