As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Purchase, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic food and beverage location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. Requirements
- Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of food and beverage production, warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas; report unusual conditions and potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, vendors, and drivers in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
