As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this mobile role, you will support daily operations with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution location, including lobbies, offices, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas, verify authorized access when required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns according to post orders.
  • Support day-to-day operations at the location by observing customer and employee activity, assisting with directions and information, and following assigned protocols for alarms, disturbances, and after-hours access.
