As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Springfield, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a transportation location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Must have a valid driver's license for 1+ years

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and construction personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transportation-related construction areas, access points, parking areas, staging locations, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying authorization as directed, and reporting unauthorized access concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting emergency services and/or supervisors when required.
  • Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
