About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Ambassador in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence at a dynamic business location. You will greet visitors, manage access and badge processes, monitor alarm panels and entry activity, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Staff the front desk, greet visitors, and maintain a professional presence at the location.
• Manage visitor access by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and directing guests according to site-specific procedures.
• Monitor entry activity and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
