About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Screening in Greenwood, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage access, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • CPR Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, delivery personnel, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and access screening protocols.
  • Screen individuals, packages, and permitted items entering the location in accordance with established security-related procedures, escalating prohibited or suspicious items as directed.
  • Verify identification, visitor authorization, and access credentials while maintaining accurate entry records and directing guests to appropriate check-in processes.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, screening areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions.
