As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Entry Management in Shreveport, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, conduct routine patrols, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas of the commercial property.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of building entrances, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Document daily activities, incidents, and access-control issues accurately, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
