As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Badge Control in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, residence areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner in accordance with established procedures.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing activity, checking credentials when required, and directing visitors appropriately.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to campus personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
