As a Security Officer Full Time Dedicated Overnight Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community, where you will drive designated routes, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally with residents and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with established property procedures, documenting observations and incidents as required.
  • Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, management, and/or emergency responders while maintaining accurate daily activity reports.
