As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Review in Pontiac, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and assisting visitors and employees. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor registration, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
• Support emergency response activities, maintain professional communications with site personnel, and complete required incident reports and shift documentation.
