About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Administration in Auburn, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying badges and visitor access, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help deter incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support security-related operations through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a retail location by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, issue visitor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, sales areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with store personnel, vendors, delivery drivers, and visitors while following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
