As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Driver in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management, emergency services, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and common areas, verify authorized entry when required, and help to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and professional interaction.
• Prepare accurate reports on patrol activities, incidents, and/or daily operations, and assist with following post orders and related instructions for the location.
