As a Security Officer Full Time Area Patrol in Santa Monica, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office buildings, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and common areas to help support authorized entry, observe visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Assist with daily property operations by answering questions, providing directions, and reporting issues that could affect tenants, guests, and/or the location.
