As a Security Officer Full Time Access Credentialing in Cypress, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and report security-related concerns. Requirements

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, and maintain access-related logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Manage visitor, contractor, and delivery access, directing individuals to designated areas and escalating unauthorized access attempts or discrepancies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, the business, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
