As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control in Montgomery, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a healthcare location, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and assisting visitors, patients, and staff. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor and manage entry points, verify authorized access credentials, and assist with visitor screening and sign-in processes in accordance with healthcare location requirements.
  • Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized access or unusual activity.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs and communicate access-related concerns, visitor information, and incidents to appropriate personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership.
