As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Driver in Paulsboro, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a secure environment for personnel and visitors. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly, and support site operations through teamwork and integrity. Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
  • Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, screening visitors and contractors, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized individuals in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
  • Document daily activities, visitor and contractor access, incidents, and irregular conditions through required reports and log entries.
