Job Description As a Security Officer - Front Lobby Desk in Greenwood Village, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a financial services location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, supporting access management, visitor processing, and phone and radio communications. You will monitor entry activity and lobby conditions, help to identify and report security-related concerns, and coordinate with site teams when assistance is needed. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors and employees at a front desk location within a financial services environment by following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Control access by greeting guests, verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals to the appropriate areas.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems from the front desk and report irregular activity per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate and notifying the appropriate contacts.
  • Complete security-related logs and reports, document incidents, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as required.
