About The Position

As a Security Officer - Lobby Desk in Los Lunas, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

  • Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Have 6+ months of security experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, guests, and vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Staff the front desk and manage access control by greeting visitors, verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing authorized personnel to their destinations.
  • Monitor building activity using security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and access control software, and report irregular activity according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting building management and/or emergency services when required.
  • Complete security-related logs and reports, document incidents and service requests, and communicate relevant updates to oncoming personnel and site contacts.
