You will manage access control and badge activity, greet employees and visitors, answer questions, and document security-related incidents with clear communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred.
  • Have access control and/or badge experience, preferred.
  • Have customer service experience, preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access to the location by greeting guests, verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining visitor logs per site requirements.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity and/or policy concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, documenting actions taken, and assisting with scene management as directed.
  • Complete required reports such as shift activity logs, incident reports, and access control documentation, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnover.
