As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech, media, and telecom location, you will welcome employees and visitors, support access control and visitor registration, monitor alarms and cameras, and respond to security-related concerns with calm, clear communication. You will be a visible, trusted presence who helps uphold site procedures while delivering customer service that reflects our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture built on teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a technology-focused location.
  • Greet, screen, and direct visitors, vendors, and contractors; manage sign-in logs and issue temporary badges consistent with access control requirements.
  • Monitor access points and front lobby activity using CCTV and/or access control systems; report unusual activity to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify site contacts and/or public responders as directed by post orders.
  • Complete shift reports and incident documentation, maintain front desk records, and support security-related administrative tasks such as key control and package delivery coordination.
