As a Front Desk Officer at a busy transportation location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control, verify credentials, and maintain clear logs while supporting a professional lobby presence. You will respond to incidents with calm communication, coordinate with on-site teams, and help promote a positive customer experience. Requirements

  • Have 3+ years' combined law enforcement and/or military and/or security experience or a college degree.
  • Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
  • Have a Corrections Officer License.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR Certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and personnel at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific access policies at a transportation location.
  • Control access by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining sign-in and/or sign-out logs, and directing arrivals to the appropriate destination.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, radio traffic, and phone lines, and report unusual activity according to post orders to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting events, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Complete shift reports and other required documentation, and communicate key information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts during shift handoff.
