As a Security Officer Front Desk Ambassador in Woonsocket, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a healthcare location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence for visitors, patients, and staff. You will monitor access, assist with visitor procedures, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with onsite teams. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, visitor management processes, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Staff the front desk station, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor logs in accordance with site policies.
  • Monitor entry activity, access control systems, cameras, alarms, and communications equipment; report irregularities and escalate concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting emergency services and/or facility representatives as needed.
  • Maintain professional communication with healthcare staff and the public, provide directions and information, and document security-related incidents, observations, and daily activities.
