Job Description As a Security Officer - Hospital Front Desk in Woonsocket, RI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, helping to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a welcoming presence. You will provide outstanding customer service, monitor entry points, and support a secure environment through clear communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors, patients, and staff at the front desk in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Monitor access to the healthcare location by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs as required by site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, healthcare staff, and/or emergency responders as necessary.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, supporting a welcoming and orderly environment.
  • Provide customer service to clients, patients, and/or visitors by addressing questions and assisting with directions within the location.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
