About The Position

As a Security Officer - Front Desk in Novi, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control through badge checks and visitor screening. You will document activity, use computer and/or tablet tools for reporting, and provide professional customer service to employees and guests. Requirements

• Have at least 2+ years of Security Experience.
• Client Requires Proof of HS Diploma/GED.
• Be 21+ Years of Age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate internal contacts and/or public emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter fencing, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, check identification and/or visitor credentials as required, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff.
