About The Position

As a Security Officer - Front Desk in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a commercial real estate multifamily community, you will be a welcoming first point of contact for residents, guests, and vendors while helping maintain a secure environment. You will monitor access, manage visitor check-ins, observe cameras and alarms, respond to security-related concerns, and document incidents with clear communication. Requirements

  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, prospective residents, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the front desk.
  • Control access at the lobby and amenity entrances by verifying identification, processing visitor and contractor check-ins and/or check-outs, issuing temporary credentials as directed, and maintaining sign-in logs.
  • Monitor alarms, CCTV, intercoms, and building management notifications as assigned, and report suspicious activity or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contact.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to property management and/or emergency responders as required.
  • Complete shift reports and required documentation, support package and key control processes as assigned, and communicate pertinent information during shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal policies.
