Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and front desk support in a professional manner.
  • Monitor lobby and reception areas, verify identification and visitor credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate front desk logs, visitor records, and incident documentation in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal standards.
  • Support a professional environment at a fast-paced technology, media, and telecommunications location by answering questions, directing arrivals, and reporting security-related concerns promptly.
