Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, patients, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and front desk responsibilities in a healthcare location.
  • Monitor access to the property by screening visitors, checking identification when appropriate, maintaining visitor logs, and communicating entry procedures in a professional manner.
  • Answer phones, greet guests, provide directions, and support front desk operations while helping to address security-related concerns and/or unusual activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Complete required reports, document daily activities, and relay important information during shift changes to support consistent security-related operations.
