Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist visitors, staff, and guests at the front desk, providing professional customer service while following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of visitor activity, incidents, and other security-related events as required by site protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, staff, and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment.
• Remain alert and attentive to surroundings, reporting any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate authorities.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by site protocols and Allied Universal policies.
