As a Front Desk Security Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will greet visitors, support access control, manage badges, and provide outstanding customer service. You will maintain a professional presence, respond to security-related concerns, and help create a welcoming environment for tenants and guests. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or employees at a commercial office location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Serve as a professional front-desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying access authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor lobby activity, access control systems, cameras, and/or communication systems, and report unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while supporting a welcoming and professional environment.
