Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist employees, visitors, and guests at the front desk, providing a professional and welcoming presence.
- Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required by site-specific policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations at the desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
- Communicate security-related concerns and escalate issues to appropriate personnel as needed.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports.
- Follow all Allied Universal procedures and site-specific protocols for handling emergencies and/or unusual situations.
- Support the overall security-related operations of the location by helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.
- Provide customer service to all individuals entering the premises, addressing inquiries and offering assistance as needed.
