About The Position

As a Security Officer Front Desk Reception in Bellefonte, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Manage the front desk by greeting and screening visitors, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate access records.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, alarms, and communication systems, reporting unusual conditions or security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Maintain professional communication with personnel and visitors, provide directions and assistance, and complete required reports and shift documentation.
