Job Description As a Security Officer - Front Desk Reception in Las Cruces, NM , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact at the location, providing exceptional customer service and communication while helping to deter security-related incidents. You will maintain a welcoming atmosphere, assist visitors and staff, and support the overall security-related needs of the site. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors, employees, and/or contractors at the front desk and provide excellent customer service while following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor access to the location, verify identification, and assist with visitor management to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, guests, and Allied Universal team members regarding security-related matters.
Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unwanted activity and provide assistance as needed.
Document incidents, observations, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and site requirements.
