Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants. Your primary responsibilities include monitoring access, assisting guests, and maintaining a welcoming environment. By remaining visible and attentive, you help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors, tenants, and employees at the front desk, providing excellent customer service while following site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of visitor logs, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by the client site.
  • Communicate professionally with building management, tenants, and Allied Universal personnel to address security-related concerns and/or emergencies.
  • Remain alert to any unusual activity in the immediate area and report observations to the appropriate personnel to help to deter unauthorized access or incidents.
  • Assist with emergency response activities at the location, including contacting emergency services and providing information as needed.
