Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a front desk within a utilities location by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointment information, issue visitor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate access and visitor records.
• Monitor entry points, alarms, cameras, and/or communications systems from the designated front desk area; report unusual activity or access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate site personnel and emergency responders when directed.
• Support access-control procedures for personnel, deliveries, and contractors while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized entry.
