Job Description As a Security Officer - Front Desk Concierge in Beverly Hills, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact while supporting security-related operations. You will manage access control, verify badges and credentials, log visitors, answer inquiries, and monitor cameras and alarms to help identify concerns early. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, tenants, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Staff the front desk and support lobby operations by greeting visitors, verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, and directing guests, vendors, and deliveries according to site procedures.
  • Monitor access control systems, cameras, alarms, and/or intercoms; document unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized entry through consistent screening and reporting.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site management and/or emergency services and completing required reports.
  • Maintain accurate shift activity logs and handle incoming calls, tenant requests, and service tickets; coordinate notifications and communications with Allied Universal leadership and the site team.
