Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and front desk protocols at a healthcare location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, assist with sign-in procedures, issue visitor credentials as directed, and report unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate contact.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Answer questions, provide directions, and help to support access control processes for approved guests and deliveries in accordance with location policies.
  • Complete required logs, incident reports, and other documentation related to front desk and security-related activities in a timely manner.
