As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in SACRAMENTO, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response guidelines within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, and report observations according to post orders and Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify authorized access when required, and document security-related events, hazards, and/or policy violations in a timely manner.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts and emergency services when appropriate, assisting with crowd and visitor management, and helping to maintain order during routine and/or high-traffic periods.
