As a Security Officer Alarm Patrol in Lodi, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will also support access awareness, respond to alarms as needed, and deliver strong customer service through clear communication. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report delivery, shipping, or after-hours access issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Support site operations by communicating with staff regarding security-related matters, assisting with incident response, and completing required logs, reports, and shift activity records.
