You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service to visitors and tenants. Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy retail and dining destination.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout public areas, retail spaces, dining areas, entrances, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to site leadership.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
