Security Officer Flex
About The Position
The Security Officer Flex helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling a variety of locations. The officer preserves order by enforcing regulations and directives at client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. The position involves frequent interaction with client employees and guests, customer service, property tours, completion of assigned rounds, and use of technology devices throughout the shift. The officer identifies and reports safety issues, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity, follows post orders, and responds to emergencies with sound judgment and appropriate escalation. Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Above-average computer and technology skills.
- Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
- Professional demeanor.
- Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
- Willingness to participate in the company’s pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.
- Nevada driver’s license required.
- Nevada Guard Card required.
Responsibilities
- Monitor client premises and help maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Control access and patrol a variety of locations.
- Preserve order by enforcing regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and the area.
- Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations.
- Interact frequently with client employees and guests.
- Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity.
- Follow post orders and complete assigned rounds.
- Provide customer service and information to client employees and guests.
- Use technology devices throughout the shift.
- Conduct tours of the property.
- Respond to emergencies using rapid, effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
- Carry out other tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.
