As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned healthcare locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, assisting visitors, and delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as requested by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or patients as needed.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual activities according to site protocols.
  • Assist with access control and visitor management procedures as required by site policies.
