As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a chemical or petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible, and communicate clearly with visitors and team members. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter, including areas typical in chemical or petrochemical locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report suspicious activities.
Document and report any incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
Work collaboratively with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns or emergencies.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance to employees and visitors.
